Recently, Daimler AG(Hereinafter referred to as”Daimler”)signed the contract for multi-year supply(Hereinafter referred to as”the contract) with Kaizhong Vogt GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kaizhong Precision in Germany with regard to the supply of the components for power battery pack for the new-energy vehicles from September 1st, 2018 to December 31st, 2027 which would be manufactured in the Chinese plant.
Daimler, founded in 1926 and whose headquarter is located in Stuttgart, Germany, is the largest manufacturer of commercial vehicle in the world, the 2nd largest producer of the luxury cars and trucks in the world, including 4 business units such as Mercedes-Benz cars, Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles, Daimler’s heavy-duty trucks and financial services. In 2017, the operation revenue was realized at 164.3 billion euros.
Kaizhong’s Chinese plant passed the Daimler’s audit in 2017. The signing of the contract indicates Kaimler’s acknowledgement of our technical capability in the components for power battery pack for the new-energy vehicles, quality management system as well as the capability in automated production, presenting our competitiveness in the global market, making it as our another milestone in the strategic field of components for the new-energy vehicles and further enhancing the influence of our brand in the international market, promoting strongly our rapid development in the market of the components for power battery pack and having the positive impact on the main business growth and sustainable profitability enhancement in the future.
